报告人及简介：
dr. prof. juan carlos afonso，是澳大利亚麦考瑞大学(macquarie university)行星与地球科学学院院长，于2006年取得加拿大卡尔顿大学（carleton university）理论地球物理学博士学位，2013年获欧洲地球科学学会egu杰出青年科学家奖，2017获澳大利亚科学院anton hales奖章。主要通过地球物理数据（重力、地磁场、地震波）反演与地球动力学数值模拟的方法，研究岩石圈的力学状态与热-化学演化过程，岩石圈与上地幔相互作用与演化过程，近期还开发了多尺度的地球化学与地球动力学过程耦合的计算程序。之前的研究成果在nature geoscience、geology、journal of geophysical research、tectonics、earth and planetary science letters等期刊上发表论文57篇。
